I'm surprised that your 6600 doesn't have s-video outputs on it. Uhm, as far as adding another card and keeping the 6600, no, you can't do that. What interface is your card? (PCI-express x16 or APG)

How much are you looking for spend? You could upgrade to a 6600GT (with s-video output) for us$99 (PCIe-x16) or us$125 (AGP 4x-8x).

If you want to keep with the 6600 specs, you could get a PCIe-x16 for us$55 or AGP 4x-8x for us$85.

I would suggest going to newegg.com and reading some reviews to help you out.

I take it the HDTV port you speak of is a DVI port. The options depend on your televisions inputs. If you only have RCA in's, then you would have to use the S-video -=> RCA adapter you mentioned. If your tv has DVI or HDMI inputs, you may then use a DVI -=> DVI/HDMI.

Sorry, but there aren't many things that can be done.

There are your only real options:

Dsub 15 -=> Dsub 15 (analog RGB)

S-video -=> S-video or RCA (composite)

DVI -=> DVI or HDMI
