vhs tapes to dvd disk

I have been copying my vhs tapes to dvds thur my dvd player they play back fine using it but when I go to play them thur my computer it says the disk is blank. what am I doing wrong?

wrong forum, this should be in the video discussion forum, not the psp forum. are you finalizing your disks if they are DVDRW's? that's what it sounds like though, try reading the manual that cam w/ your dvdwriter.
