i downgraded from 2.7 to 1.5, and i downlaoded a few games for my psp, i need to know what other stuff i need to make these games work on my psp? and how do i put them on my psp
please, im a newbie

download the devhook ultimate installer from here.

initiate the usb connection of your psp then start it. it will install all needed files for devhook to run. it also creates the ISO folder in the root of your memstick for you. your psp games (should be iso or cso) go in the ISO folder. start up devhook and go to UMD select and choose the game you wanna play. hit start on the main devhook menu and make sure a UMD GAME is in and your game should boot up.

well ive got a game that i donwloaded on my comp, i dont get ehat you eman by put in umd disk and let it boot up, as i just wanna usb transfer the game from my pc to psp

you can install the mod pack from the devhook installer. the mod pack lets you play through USB so you dont have to put the iso or cso on your memory stick.

1. install devhook
2. put iso or cso in iso folder on the root of your memory stick
3. put umd in psp
4. start devhook
5. change the settings so that
UMD SELECT - your iso or cso
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222MHz/111MHz
BOOT SELECT - reboot XMB
OTHER MENU - dont worry about this
6. then pick start up at the top then your game should load

but i dont have firmware 2.71 anymore and do i put any umd in the umd slot

u dont need firmware 2.71 devhook emulates it. you can use almost any UMD. UMD sampler version 2 doesnt like to work too well. UMD Movies have to be from the same region of your psp. All UMD games will work. if u wanna play ISO's through your usb connection look at the stickies. there was a tutorial created for that exact thing. also if you use devhook .46 you dont have to worry about the settings as they come pre-set.

UMD sampler version 1 works. The second version doesnt like to work. You can use a UMD movie as long as its from the same region of your psp. I have used my spiderman 2 UMD movie before.

when the ultimate installer asked for what drive you wanted it to be installed to you have to tell it to install at the drive letter your psp is assigned.
