I have several problems, which im not sure are interlinked or not.

1. Whenever i try and download a torrent the speed of the download is very slow. Usually less than 50Kbps. I have 4 MB broadband, so this seems very slow.

2. Within minutes of me starting up Azureus, the download stops, and i lose my internet connection.

3. In the bottom corner i get a message saying DHT firewalled (it appears yellow)

4. I am a newbie and so have no idea about what im doing whatsoever. Ive tried reading a few guides. But i dont understand anything.


Some information

I use a netgear WGT624 router.
I tried using the tutorial on how to open up ports and forward them to my router. But have forgotten my routers username and password.

go to www.portforward.com and find your router, included in the instructions will be your default username and password.

THen go to the first link in my sig and grab the BT Bible, it should help get you rollin'.
