Hi,

If i were to buy a PSP in the US today, what is the chance that i will get one of those TA-08A mobo that is uncompatable?

i know about the ABCEF.. indication method of FW, but what about MOBO?

is there anychance of getting a good mobo?

as far as i know all Core bundles have Ta-082. I just recently saw a 2.01 psp at the store though.

so what is it exactly thats making the TA-082 mobo unhackable?

and from what you guys said, there are way more TA-082 than the other...so my chances are slim when i buy a new psp.

seriously , i dont see how the psp scene can continue without a solution to this mobo issue, eventually the market will be so unsaturated that a non Ta-082 will be like gold, unless somebody finds a solution.

its a chip or something built into the flash that "blacklists" the 1.5 firmware.

will that just sucks, i was really hoping to get a hackable psp man, i have always wanted one since it came out, i guess i should have gotten one then!

but is there any hope wat so ever?

oh ya there is always hope. a guy by the name of ookm is creating a ta-082 downgrader. I dont know where his progress is now but I heard he walks people thru the process on his blogspot because it takes about 45 mins. Dont know if its true or not, but ya there is always hope.
