ok my ipod is saying use itunes to restore and theirs bunch of different writing like chineese or something utilisez itunes pour and all this other writing on the ipods screen i dont understand i tryed restoring it with the ipod updater but it just says plug in an ipod i ready plugged it in but it dont work

Try Unplugging it and turning it on going into the settings and configuring the language this may help u progrss better.

The other way is to remove everything off the Ipod and starting again.

its not giving me any options on it it just says restore ipod with itunes and thiers a bunch of diff writing like chineese or usm shyt saying i think the same thing in diff languages but its basicaly saying restore ipod with itunes iam realy confused can you help me i tried pressing buttons thats the only thing thats thier

The only thing i can suggest is to reinstall the software. go to your add remove programs and remove itunes and then restart the computer and then reinstall the software and make sure you choose english as the language.
