Hi all,
I have not had a problem backing up any of my ps2 games until now, maybe someone can help. I used DVD Decrypter for both read and write and my back up starts, doesn't go to game tile then switchs to the "please insert a ps2 game". I have a mod chip in my ps2 and never had a problem like I said till now. If anyone can help it would be appreciated

Tom

I'm using memorex DVD-R and reading at 6x and burning at 4-5x the speed bounces around but thats the average. I can't slow it down either, I have it on 1x and it goes faster, can't explain that one. Never had a problem with memorex before. What do u think.

This is a cd based game. You can burn it onto cd or if you want you can burn to dvd but you may have to use Nero to burn to dvd. Thats what I had to do with the first one this one is the same way.

I've been using DVD Decrypter for a long time, I was wondering if there is other apps. that have it going on better with current rip techniques and burning settings to make it as easy as posible. I don't use the online feature so I don't need to rip the code off my orginals. Use computer for online gamming.

Your using crappy media. Always use good media verbatim, taiyo yuden, sony or maxell and 8x burn at 4x. Also try image burn its freeware.

OK, I ripped the dvd image with DVD Decrypter and then I used image burn to burn it. I checked the verify squared next to test mode and burned image file, when it was verifing it came up twice that there was a file that should should be a certain size and ask if u want to resize it. I click yes to both then it burned and tested it and things are ok. Hope this help anyone.

I backed this game up using a Maxell 8x DVD-R with DVD Decrypter and Nero 6 Burning ROM. Hope this helps anyone else who has trouble.

This game actually has a false TOC, so you can actually rebuild it & make it much smaller. Loads a lot quicker too.
