whenever the new firmware is released, they will work. please be patient.. those games JUST came out. It takes roughly a week at least to get them working.

ya, but is the the JPN version or the US version?

JPN version works perfectly, US version does not save (yet) at least not on M3 or G6

since it doesnt save with the M3 and it can save on the supercard. why would it NOT save on the M3 but will save on the supercard.

the US version

because they are different products that are made differently by different companies.

Because SuperCard lucked out perhaps? Generally speaking, the M3 performs better than the SuperCard in every aspect of operation, it just so happens that this game is an exception.

I haven't tested it with my EZIV yet, but I saw my brother playing it earlier and he didn't complain about issues with saving, so I guess it's working.

Thanks goes out to theridges for the userbars :)

That's just an untrue statement right there.

Oh really? And how is that? Other than a few homebrew applications (most notably DSorganize), everything works better on the M3 than the Supercard. Even ask mr hanky. Based on research and customer reviews, the M3 outperforms pretty much everything. That said, I still ended up buying an EZIV since I didn't want to pay that much and all I wanted it for was to play DS games and the occasional GBA game. Hell, even the EZIV has better GBA performance than the Supercard with the exception of the RTC...

Back on topic though. Megaman ZX works fine on the EZIV. Saves and everything. Then again, they recently had updates for both the patcher client and the EZIV's kernel, so that's probably why.

As Venom said, the M3 is simply the better device.

Also, for all M3/G6 users the M3 team have released the U-Disk manager v4.4 and Gamemanger v27a This apparently fixes the issues in the new games, I can say the M3 games are working, I can't test G6 as mine's busted.

Get the updates from http://dualscene.net/news.php

Also, it appears the M3 team have fixed the GBA Linkage functions (finally) I will test this later.

I can confirm that the G6 games are working, just been playing Mario Hoops 3 on 3. Have also tested Lego Star Wars II and Megaman ZX.

What are you doing that I am not. Could you specify what you did to get the roms to work? I am using a g6lite 4G and a super card.
I could not get the US Mario Hoops(the Japanese version works perfectly) and Lego Star Wars to work.

You need to update the U-Disk manager software to 4.4 for the games to work on your G6.

If you havn't already, you will most likly need the latest firmware on your G6 too, which I think is 4.3

Also when you are writing a rom to the G6 there is a new tab in U-Disk 4.4 called Linkage. You must check the box under this tab to enable the new roms to work.

You sure? Thats just for using GBA -> NDS Link functions isn't it?

Have you tried without the Linkage checked?

Oh, I thought that was how you got the new games working! I didnt try without the Linkage checked. I will though and let you know. I guess the compatability with new games is just built in to the new U-Disk manager?

OK, i've come across a problem playing Megaman ZX (US) on my M3, when I get the Wind Biometal (green one, can't remember the letter) I try to switch to it and my DS just white screens, has done it both times i've tried.

Using 1x DMA, Soft Reset, Trim, Force R/W
EDIT: Also tried the above without Trim on.

Anyone else got this problem, or do i just have a bad dump?

EDIT2: Problem fixed, have to not use Soft-Reset :(
