The UMD icon on my PSP is not displayed when I'm in the game menu. What should I do?

please dont start another thread when you already have one created. the reason its not showing up is because you knocked it out of alignment. your best bet will probably be buying and installing a new UMD laser assembly. why did u move it anyway?

I read a thread that said that they moved it a little and it started reading umds again. so i tried it.

the first thing you should of tried is cleaning the laser with a cotton-swap its obviously too late for that now. you can always try moving it to different positions since its already been moved. if you cant get it to work again by moving it to different spots youre going to need a new laser assembly.
