when i exit a game it freezes on the 'please wait' screen and thren i have to manualy shut down by holdng the power butn why isit doing this?

Are you using original umd games, or are they from the memory card.
If from thge memory card you may need to use the latest version of devhook as I remember this used to be a problem in the older versions.

you should reformat your memory stick and then install via ultimate installer.

go into the psp folder - copy the savedata folder to your pc and you will have backed up your gamesaves.

not with devhook .46. it has to have a umd inside. there is older game loaders that will load one without a UMD but it will only load 1.5 games.

anyway.. the chances of it being bricked is slim just make sure it isnt ta-082 mobo lol .

2.71 i have the easy downgrader and it gives that error message but when i click on continue it works perfectly and asks for the psp letter name shall i continue or...? and also do i need umd inside it?

You dont need a UMD inside to downgrade. The error you're getting is it on the psp or on your pc? When you say it asks for a letter are you talking about the drive letter?

its on the pc on the downgrader program and yeah when ic lick on ok after the error message it goes to teh next step like nothing had happened the stage were it asks for device letter shall i continue and what is the chance that the psp will brick?
