If those directions don't do it, then you should stop trying and use something else.

Hi there,

Its really quiete simple, grab yourself a client first.

Heres some good clients:

All clients do the same thing, its all down to personal preference at the end of the day, there are some simelarities and differences
but its personl preference that win's it, I prefere uTorrent myself.

BitCommet:

http://www.bitcomet.com/doc/download.htm

Azureus:

http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

uTorrent:

http://www.utorrent.com/download.php

ABC [Yet Another Bittorrent Client]

http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/

BitTornado

http://bittornado.com/

Allways make sure you run Peer Gaurdian 2 when downloading off anywhere to keep yourself
safe, Its pretty much essential.

Pick your client, then you can use any of theese torrent search engines to get your files:

http://www.isohunt.com

http://www.torrentspy.com/

http://www.mininova.org/

http://www.torrentbox.com/

You'll find the best stuff at private trackers, theese sites are invite only, you need to recive an invite from someone on the inside to gain mebership,WARNING You are not allowed to ask for invites at AfterDawn.Com.

Stick with public trackers (for now), the list of them goes on really, once you've installed your client, just search for what you want in any of thoose sites and download the .torrent file, TomMelee's BT Bible will turn you to BT newbie ---> BT Guru, it explains everything else you need to know, you can download his great guide here:

TomMelee's BT Bible 1.2

http://www.plucky.org/download-central/p2p-tutorials/

That should cover everything, theres plenty of other torrent guides here incase you hit any snags:

If theres anything else you need to know just ask, remember if you don't know the answer its not a dumb qeustion!! :)

Hi,

There public trackers, the kind we can mention in public...

Private trackers do not like there names mentioned, they can google for themselves if they want to find them, I know so because I did mention one and got a PM from the site, they weren't happy, you don't wanna see a angry sysOp.

Some don't mind, others do, thats why I stay safe and use public trackers like Isohunt & torrentspy in that particular canned speech :-)

Private trackers have slight secuirty benifits & great speed advantages, not to mention better communities, but thats a job for google + the user.
