If it takes that long decrypt you can count on your DVDR drive to burn out it no time!

Yep BlocBusta - Sounds like a new one is in order :)

A good processor & ram - you'll be backing up movies faster than you can blink (well I'm exaggerating a bit :0))

I just put a AMD X2 3800 in a Asus M2NPV-VM motherboard in a case of my own choosing. I put two matched sticks of 512 and two matched 1 Gig for a total of 3 Gig. Enough for about anything out there now and I am LOVING IT. Build it you will come. HEHE

Motherboard was 89.00 and processor was 150.00 all at Newegg of course. I used Patriot ram but forgot what I paid but I did wait for a sale. The main thing is the thrill of doing it yourself. You end up knowing exactly what you have, where it's at and what it will do. Try it and goodluck. P.S. If your case comes with a ps don't even try to use it. Invest in a good pw or you will regret it.
