I have a big problem, I'm a member of many different file sharing communities but the problem I have is my ISP limits my Download to 7 gigs and my upload to 2.5 gigs a month. You can see the issue it's hard to have an even share ratio when your usage ratio isn't even. I guess I could just download 2.5 gigs a month but man that's nothing in my eyes. If anyone has run into this and knows something that might help PLEASE let me know. Thanks in advance.

Get a bigger package (more bandwidth).
It's the only way to get around it.

It's the only option, like it or not.
Unless you want to consider switching to an ISP that has better terms.

lol 2.5 gigs a month (drooling) in my area only 2 companies offer high-speed internet. A local company offers wireless for $35 at a measly 256kbps up and 1.5kbps down. And then theres comcast for $60 but their service is cable based and I've never been a big fan of cable internet service. Cant wait until the new AT&T/SBC merger is finished and they start offering their service out my way. But until then its 24.0kbps dial-up and with our current provider I/my family is limited to 3 hours of access time daily.

I got on the interweb first in 1991, lol. 1200 baud modem. That's 1200 bits a second. That's...uhm...slow.
Then 2400! Halleluiah!
Then 14.4! WOW! 7x faster!
Then 28.8! Wewt.
Then about a year or two later we got 36.6!
And then we finally got 56.6! WOW!
I think really that's a lot of where my do-it-yourself attitude came from, there weren't places (or time) (or bandwidth) where people could solve your problems for you, so you read some text files, experimented, and away you went.
Heck, I was ripping mp3's with a batch script in 1998 on my STATE OF THE ART Gateway 2000 Solo 2100 laptop, with the p1 133 processor and the ACTIVE MATRIX SCREEN! OMG!
And then I went to college and got broadband, and I thought my brain would melt. True story. Nobody asked, but true story.
