My cso won't play.

As above. When i load the game. It gets to the loading screen part but just switches off by itself. I compressed it from an iso file.

Not all CSO files are compatible. Un-CiSO it and try it as an ISO. Or did you do that already? If it worked that way, unfortunately, that's how you're gonna hafta play it...

but my memory stick ain't that big to contain that 995 meg file. haiz, maybe i'aint fated to play the game.

I tried using umdgen and just try taking out the pad files but the same problem occur when i try playing it. It got stuck at the loading screen and just shuts off by iself. I'm trying to play nba showdown and using devhook .46

More then likely its already set, but do you have the clockspeed set to 222 mhz?

I was just thinkin about your problem and I also have a game that shuts off at a loading screen. I found that if I begin pressing start as soon as something comes up on the screen it makes it to the main menu. This might not be the case here but it might work. Also which part of the loading screen is it stuck on? Is it a sony loading screen or one of the games loading screens?

it got stuck on the game loading screen. Everything as pernormal till that part, then it shuts off itself. and when i switch on again, i was brought back to desktop.

could be becuz of the compression, could be bad rip. theres a number of things it could be. i would try obtaining a different copy and see what happens, or maybe uncompressing it and adding a ripkit and seeing if it plays., or uncompress it and compress it on a different level.
