There are a couple of things you can check in Nero. Firstly go to device manager and then to the Ide setting. Then double click on primary drive within Ide and then on 'advanced settings'. The channels should be set to DMA mode. Then go to the secondary drive and check again that DMA is checked. If both are already set to DMA then change both to PIA mode. Secondly in Nero go to file - preferences - ultrabuffer and adjust the figure in the box as necessary. There should be a figure already there but increase this to the maximum allowed. Also uncheck the Joliet box in DVD Video mode. Try burning again with a different disc type. This may make a difference especially if changes as above were necessary. Good luck.

Sorry there is another thing you are doing wrong also by the look of it. You shouldn't be burning movies in UDF/ISO unless you are just backing them up or want to view on your PC? Use the wizard to navigate to DVD Video option and then drag and drop the files there.

Discmania is right.
You wont have to create VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS folders cos Nero has them ready for you when you get thru Nero Wizard to DVD-Video (Nero will only allow VOB,BUP,IFO files it'll say)...hit finish
Click on red VIDEO_TS folder drag n drop all VOB BUP IFO files over into empty VIDEO_TS folder & burn [recommended X1,especially for highly compressed video]

I reckon this cycle redundancy error will be ironed out in next version , hopefully along with right audio selections.
I haven't used DVD Shrink enough to ever get this error (or lucky)
I usually use DVD2One which is and always has been since it's conception one of the fastest at what it does , and to add to that it does it with quality.
If your from US (usmcja) you can buy DVD2One a lot cheaper than I'm able to , I have to pay 19% VAT on top just for being part of E.U

I think the mpeg2/dvd plug-in is for Nero Vision Express version , you shouldn't need this plug-in !!

Rotary:
You have a dual format burner and Nero will burn DVD-R(RW) , which is actually more compatible on stand alone players than DVD+R

I dont know if you've read here at all , or even if your problem is perhaps addressed there : http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdwriters.php?DVDname=hp+300i+&Submit=Search&Search=Search&list=0
P.S. I would imagine your hp300i is burning at X4 btw !! Unless you're using really good blank media you may find that , that speed is too fast to get a successful burn
In Nero when actually going to burn , in the drop down box ... can you select a differing speed or is it just auto (like f/w upgrade for this writer) ?

I reckon by the sounds of it then that it might be a SCSI hardware problem ??!!?
Could be wrong , and I wouldnt know what setting to suggest on SCSI cos I dont have any supported drives of that nature (sorry)
