Help With 1.50 Downgrader

After upgrading to 2.71, I decided to install the downgrader to complete the process of downgrading my PSP to 1.50. I'm using the easy 1.50 downgrader for this.

Anyway, it was no problem getting the software onto my memory stick. I went to Photo as I was told to in the installer, but instead of getting the red screen like I'm supposed to, my PSP just crashed and refused to switch off (it wasn't doing anything either, so I knew it wasn't installing the 1.50 firmware).

After finally getting my PSP to switch off, I switched it back on and indeed the firmware hadn't installed, my PSP had crshed for whatever reason.

So can anyone guide me ythrough getting the 1.50 firmware to install correctly from the stage I'm at. Thanks very much.

that is normal. just keep repeating the process and it will eventually work. the devs said the exploit fully executes about 1 in 10 tries.

How many times did it take you Hexinot to downgrade from 2.71 to 1.5???? It took me like 15 tries, by the 11th time I almost crapped myself. LOL!!

It took me five times to get the downgrade to work, so I guess I'm one of the lucky one's who didn't have to try 100 times to get it to install, lol.

waa it staken me about 2 or 3 tries once 5 but no more ! and the post about not turning off yeah i learnt that the hard the wayy!! hexitnow thanks again for that sticky moment thought id done it ther for good!!
