Is this latter version really still more stable than the Ultra 7. I see mixed comments regarding the 2 versions and I am wanting to clean out my older version of 6.6.6.0 version and replace it with a newer stable version.

I would appreciate comments. One major issue that I have read is that the Ultra 7 is very large in size and may not be necessary to all end users.

Thankyou

Thx for the reply, what is the difference between "Ultra" and "Premium" as all that is availabe here in the stores in Canada and I have checked over 4 Big Box and 4 smaller specialty stores and there is no Premium up here or is just a D/L version as I always buy when there is a cd.

Just curious, and again thx for the reply.

BTW, I had read of issues with Version 7 and again that is why i don't want to get stung spending a bundle and then trekking back to my old reliable version of 6.6.6.0

Regards.

I was directed to a prior thread on this topic and so I think after reviewing that one I am going to stick with version 6 that I am contented with and I will withdraw this query.

Thankyou.

Glad to see that you have not lost your sense of humour after that costly "byte", the version that I have been using is 6.6.0.6 and have not ever had a problem.
This is probably a very old version since i got my numbers mixed up, but the proggy runs like a charm and when "things are not broke I never try to fix 'em"

My parents said that and thus that is what i continue to do, maybe outdated in this tech era, so I then practice conservatism and thus the post!!
I don't buy b/c they say that "bigger is better", that is the only way I can portray myself as an "enduser".

Thx for the replies and best regards

Nice to see honest opinions without animosity.
That is the only way to constructively and objectively allow a poster to make a decision based on their own reading and listening to other end users!!!

Cheers as emotional responses always make me feel people have shares in the company or are being paid to post !!! LOL

Just a little Canadian humour, EH!!??!!
Life goes on beyond technology and it is much more enjoyable again only IMHO!!!

I'm currently running Nero 7.2.7.0 with no problems. Of course, my old version was really old and I uninstalled it before I even thought of installing the upgrade.
