i was wondering what converter everyone uses to make DSM video files?

You really don't want to use DSM, a Simpsons episode in thats format can easily take 300MB.

I'm asumming you want to convert videos for use in Moonshell, in which case you are much better off using the DPG format, much smaller filesizes with the same level of quality as DSM.

Use BatchDPG (google it) to convert your videos into the DPG format.
