Hi, I am using Nero 7.2.3.2.b, and after I burn an AVI file to DVD, it has audio sync problems. Any help is appreciated (Please supply easy to follow steps--- you are talking to a newbie!!!). THANKS!

Hello

Nero 7 has audio sync problems. If you previously had a Nero 6 serial number, try downgrading to Nero 6.6.0.18 and NVE 3. It seems to work better most of the time. If you do so, run the Nero 7 Clean Tool first before installing the other version.

There are also other conversion programs that work pretty well:

You can always do the conversion with another program and then use NeroVision Express for making menus if needed.

So that I could comment on 7.2.3.2b, I tried it to burn 3 AVI flies which I had successfully burned using version 7.0.8.2, sadly each burn was unsatisfactory so I reverted to 7.0.8.2, tried them again with success?my conclusion..7.2.3.2b was a failure when it comes to burn AVI files.

I did the following, uninstalled 7.2.3.2b, ran this clean tool

Hey guys,
I'm so sorry for the long response. I got a new internet connection, and it just took me so long to get it up and working. Anyways, I don't want to download my version of Nero 7 because I like this version generally better because I don't want to lose the features I have on 7.2.3.2b. Anyways, I tried using WinAVI but there were lots of problems with the video once i put it into my dvd player (the video was very skippy). I also used Cucusoft's video converter, which gave me a dvd disc that didn't play, but sometimes it gave me mixed results.

So right now, I'm going to try that AVI conversion again on Nero 7 and see what I get (Somebody please comment, to tell me if there is some kind of clean tool i have to run to "fix" my version of Nero 7.) Again, thank you guys for the support (I'm sorry that my reply was so late!!!)

Just do what gwendolin posted. She posted both the link to the Nero 7 clean tool and the link to the version of Nero 7 that works.

ConvertX is the best converter imo. There's a link in my 1st post.
