i have just managed to down grade my psp firm ware from 2.01-1.50,(what a nightmare that was).now i`m ready to enjoy the games but i dont have a clue what the hell i`am doing could somebody help me please.because i have heard that you have to get them compressed and loads of other things and to be honest with you i have the iq of a boild potatoe when it comes to these sort of things

Just install Devhook .46 and remember to install the ultimate installer.. You can get it from http://www.psp-hacks.com
When you have installed it there should be a folder named ISO on your Memory stick root.. Just drop your ISO file in there and the load devhook on your psp and select what game you wanna play..

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP ,BUT IS DEVHOOK AND ULTIMATE INSTALLER 2 SEPERATE PROGRAMS.IF SO IVE INSTALLED BOOSTERS DEVHOOK 0.46 SO DO I NEED TO INSTAL ULTIMATE AS WELL

You also need a UMD in to boot the game of your choice. UMD Games also work the best. UMD Sampler Volume 1 works.

thanyou all sorted playing games.now got another prob. my friend gave me a disc with games on but they r in rar format not iso do i need to change them to iso to play on psp.....also do i need to instal a media player to watch movies

When you press on the WinRAR files can you see some files in the rar?
(ICON0,PIC1,UMD_DATA.bin) ???

If so, Open WinRAR then go to the root of the RAR file and rename it from .rar to .iso

all i got is a page looking file with corner folded back on the page it looks like icons the name of the game i.e starwars battle front ii thenrar if i open it it says it cant and i need to go on line to do so with a different program........ps i know im thick
