please school me 1.5 ISOs, emus and roms

1.5 firm, good to go and all but i've been away for a while and need some help with my psp. i just cleared my 1GB mem stick. i was using fastloader.07 and had some emus that i was just informed are out dated.
from reading forums and sites, i know devhook is supposed to be the ISO loader to use but when i do a torrent search on it i see there are many different version. whats the differences?
also, please list any fun homebrews and what emulators i should be using for nes, gb, snes, genesis, arcade, ect.

here is a link to the devhook .46 ultimate installer. it installs all files for you and creates all the folders for you also.

Boot devhook up and go to umd select - choose which ISO you wanna play or UMD DISC if u wanna play a UMD. Go to start on the main devhook menu and have a UMD in and it will boot the game of your choice. Also just so you know devhook is also a firmware emulator.

Thats a link to many emulators on psp-hacks.com I dont emulate many consoles but I do emulate SNES. The one i like to use is SnesTYL_PSP.

SnesPSP_TYL is a very good emulator. its too bad that the person making it stopped working on it.

i'm grabbing devhook 4.6 from a torrents site. like you gave me just had script posted for some reason. still cool?
now how is this a firmware emulator? doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose of the mod chip?
emu's i'll get back up on but anyone knwo where i can get english translated rom of Home Sweet Home for NES? its the game that inspired resident evil

no dont upgrade,just use that link and install the 1st part saying something like: devhook with 2.71 firmware

devhook EMULATES the firmware. it doesnt keep your PSP the 2.71 firmware.

@pspjunior no it doesnt make your psp think its a 2.71. that would do absolutely nothing concerning playing newer games. It actually emulates and runs the 2.71 firmware.
@fruhmann
the other options are custom add-ons for the most part. i think there is option to remove it. and there is options for installing other firmwares also.
