Hi,

recently I created a PAL DVD using Encore 2.0 using
the standard settings for about 1 hour/DVD.

Souce was from DV tape.

On at least two stand alone players fast forward
works only until 2x speed and if I try 4x or more the playback
freezes. Fast reverse does not work at all and on one player
it caused the player's software to loack up and I had to
power-cycle it in order to get the DVD back out :-(

Then I became curious and tried Ulead dvd movie factory
(some older version, 3.x if memory serves me) and
fast forward/backward worked OK. Ulead dvd movie factory 5.x
also produces a non fast skipping DVD.

On a neighbour's modern DVD player all works OK - also
OK on WinDVD.

Right now I am trying to analyze the VOB files and would
appreciate any hints what to look for, especially if
something is known to offend older DVD standalone players.
