when i backup one of my games and i put it into the ps2 is says please insert a ps or ps2 format disk ........can someone plz explain how i format a dvd disk to ps2?

lol. Probably none, going by the question he asked!

You need a modchip or Swap Magic boot discs (with magic keys or custom fliptop case) to play backups on PS2.

You can make as many backups of games as you want, but the PS2 won't play them unless you have a 'mod' of some kind, as posted in my last reply.
