Hi Guys,

I'm trying to get Dev hook 0.46 working. But i have 2.71 installed on my PSP doh, if i downgrade to 1.5 do have to get 1.5 off someone else's psp? Coz i dont know anyone with 1.5 :(

I'm from the UK should this work on my PSP version?

Also im alittle scared of downgrading ,How can i be absolutely certain i dont have TA-082 motherbaord, i cant see any number when i open the UMD drive at all , does this mean is fine to downgrade?

Thanks

Dave

yeah if you use that easydowngrader, follow all the instructions and have the AC charger in, you should do fine!

Quick question.
My battery is 85% full, is it essential to have the charger in?

Thanks

Sorry to bother you again,

Before i downgrade,

Earlier i had installed 2.71 firmware.
Then I installed the DEV HOOK 0.46

Then after reading forums I found out you need to 1.5 to run DEV_HOOK.

So now after i downgrade to 1.5 will i have to re-install dev hook?

Thanks

yes it is recommended to have it in at all times, if you dont have it in theres a much greater chance of bricking your psp.....

did you have to re-install devhook when it became 1.5 or was it still there?

Dev Hook was still there. All seems to work well.

Except for 2 things:

When i go to the photos my psp freezes. I havent tried this emualtion mode yet though.

Another thing, is it common when switching on the psp to get a message reading: Software needs updating, with an option to go back?

Thanks - hats off to the guys that wrote the software dam good.

nice, good to hear it,
firstly i didnt downgrade with the 2.71 so i wouldnt know about the psp freezing when you go to photo sorry.
and yes it always comes up with 'to start, you must update the system software' but just press back and ignore it!

concerning the freezing when going to photo it sounds like you still have the downgrader files installed. format your memstick the check it out. as for the software needs updating thats because ur trying to run a game that needs a higher firmware then 1.5. devhook will solve that problem.
