second hand psp downgradable?

hi, ok my friend gave me his psp. he said it was pre owned and that he bought it a month ago. he asked me to downgrade it. ok i no how to do it ive doen lots of psps successfully using the 2.71 easy downgrader. this psp is downgradable but being second hand i don't no if its been tampered with. the warenty eal is there under the battery but the S/N on the bottom of the psp isnt? other than that its ok is there any way to ceck for more errors or stuff cuz i dont wanna brick!

as long as the mobos ok and its the right firmware it should be fine,it doesnt matter whats been done to it as long as its a downgradable mobo it should go ok.

dont blame me though if it bricks.

it doesnt look like its been opened up or anything im just worried by the fact that why isnt the S/N sticker gone? hopefully some one else can confirm that its ok and to proceed.

Man, forget the sticker, just check if you don't have a TA-082 then downgrade if you do keep worrying aout the sticker.
