hey ive got a 2.5 version psp, got the info from system settings on psp thats right yeah?
my question is whats the best and easiest method of downgrading to 1.5 i was thinkin updating to 2.71 and using the easy downgrader for it but i have no idea how to update to 2.71

any ideas please

dont upgrade to 2.71 just use the easy downgrager by dark_alex u can find it on psp hacks

The easy downgrader for 2.5 requires the unpatched version of GTA:LCS for it to work. However the 2.71 downgrader does not. Download the 2.71 update from here.

Initiate the usb connection navigate to the PSP Folder - Then to GAME - Create a folder inside of game named UPDATE. Stick the update eboot in there and you will see it pop up in the menu when you go to game - then memorystick.

ya use the downgrader hexitnow gives u cause i downgraded my cousins psp in like 5 min NO PROBLEMS...thx again hexit

my only problem is i havent got gta:lcs and dont really want to buy it and @hexitnow that file to update to 2.71 says its for us psps only and i live in the uk

u can have it from here http://dl.qj.net/Firmware-2.71-Firmwares.../8046/catid/163 hehe i got a psp with 2.5 firmware too and its written ic6001 inside i gonna try to upgrade to 2.71 then downgrade to 1.5

The US update will work fine on a UK psp. At the bottom of my previous post is the link to the 2.71 downgrader.
