What is the best program to burn your back-up DVDs? I want something that is almost like Nero and is a free download.

My trial version of nero has ran out and I dont want to buy it!!!

Doesn't DvdDecrypter have its own burn engine? Try it.

Nero is a great program, worth the money. It also comes with most of the newer burners. DvdDecrypter does burn, but I have found that it doesn't quite work as well as Nero. I had bad results using DvdDecrypter burner. Those are the only ones i've tried and Nero works good for me. Not sure of any other free programs but u can check Downloads.com.....

Nero gives me 100% success rate !!

DVD Decrypter actually has a table of drives (burners) that it supports and my Pioneer is on the list.
It (decrypter) does okay @ the job but I much prefer Nero.

With some - nero works well, with others it doesn't.

With some - recnowmax works well, with others it still does...(biased view)

Which ever one does exactly what you need to do - that is the best program for you....

Personally, I'd go with the 3 nipples - and sod the burning programs....LOL

Unfortunately - these are not all free - but worth spending a small amount on....

Don't know about the 3 nipples though - shall have to do some surfin' to find a good price....
