yea i found out my account was tagged a fe weeks ago and that it wsa placed under probation, and that they would monitor the account. what exactly does this mean they are doing?

What do you think it means ?
You're being watched, and if they catch you doing illegal stuff again, they'll probably cancell your subscription or hand over your data to the riaa/mpaa.

mediabob - Pretty much everything has some type of copyright on it, making it illegal to download. If I were you, I'd stop downloading stuff and find a new ISP.

how does an ISP tell the difference between legal downloads from torrents that are encrypted and illegal ones that are encrypted? like how can they tell what ur downloading

I would care about that later and follow DakotaFan's advice IMMEDIATELY.

Spellcheck is a nice invention.
Using BitVomit hurts the swarm your in, get a decent client.
