Hi, I was just curious abt the internet connection ppl have, the speed they get and the monthly cost.

I have a 256 kbps connection, I get abt 30 kb dl speed and I pay abt 26usd per month.Wt abt u guys.

Your connection is sufficient but not that great(no offence or anything).You need to do some port forwarding on your router and look at some of the guides stickied at the top of the p2p section :)

Btw I have road runner premium cable and it's about 3mb.

its 256 Kilo-Bit-Per-Second
and u should get a max of 32 Kilo-Byte-Per-Second

8 bits = 1 kilobyte
so its a ratio 8:1

Hmmm 19.99 for abt 150 kb download speed, I pay like $26 for 30 kb dl speed....its total crap. I just wish a better internet provider company launches around my area.

i believe i have the crapiest internet connection EVER! i have done the port forwarding and the static ip thing but i still only get an average of 15kbps, i have DSL, i have no idea wat the problem is. any suggestions?

10Mb, with 1050KB/sec average DL speed from usenet :D but around 40KB/sec upload speed :(
