Wow a whole 160kB or 40kB for torrents! ahaha that's nothin...

Get a true torrent client and you'll get up to 400kB or even more!(depending on seeds and connection of coarse).Limewire is ok but not for torrents.I've come to realize that torrent support is NOT the same as a torrent client.

Edit* you are talking about kB not kb right? I only ask because I know limewire uses the KB/s terminology.

Limewire is a spyware infested, slow @ss piece of cr@p.
Besides, who gives a [CENSORED] about your speeds?
It's not as if that's gonna solve anything, or is of any particular use to anyone but the RIAA/MPAA when they evetually sue you for piracy because you WILL get caught sooner or later when using cr@p like limewire.
Aren't you gonna feel silly when your in jail, and some guy covered in scars and tattoo's asks you what you're in for...

Learn how to use torrents correctly, then you will see speeds alot greater than limwire.

Hi nbie1989 ,

Welcome to Afterdawn.

We can debate this all day, bitch and flame at one another 'till the cow's come home, but we all know the true winner here, without even need for contest...

When I read this thread, my initial thoughts were along the lines of "thats odd", ofcourse nbie1989 in entitled to there own opinion, but at the end of the day, if you think limewire is better than BT, you should re consider that point because its utter crap, sorry, its true.

The fact that you do not know how to use BT is your own loss, if you did know then you would know that BT is in another leuage, no other file sharing app can compare, period.

Last year BT consumed over 60% of ISP's availible bandwidth, consider that fact for a nanosecond...whooaaaaaa, that's allota BT :-)

The main three reasons for this are:

*Superior speeds.
*Superior avaibibilty.
*Superior security.

You are more than entitled to your opinion, use whatever you wish, but this is not much of a debatable topic, for me and many others, BT is the only way to file share, end of :-)

I do not want to try and convert you or convince you to use BT, I just want to make my point seing as the thread calls for it, no harm meant to anyone.

Hey there,

I understand, if you need support, ask away, thats what were here for :-)

Ofcourse you'd need to start a new thread for that, one topic per thread.

And you'd need to drop the text speak, cause no one in their right mind will bother deciphering your posts if you type like that all the time.
Or you get replies like "sure, here's what ya do : 01001100 01100101 01100001 01110010 01101110 00100000 01101000 01101111 01110111 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01110101 01110011 01100101 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01110011 01100101 01100001 01110010 01100011 01101000 00100001 " which isn't to handy if you don't know binary.

And now for your nerd trick of the day:

Text is much more easily transcribed into hex than binary, simply because binary is a numbers-only system.

Example word in binary:
01000100011001010110111101111000011110010111001001101000011110010110001001101111011011100111010101100011011011000110010101101001011000110110000101100011011010010110010000101110

Same word in octal:
104145157170171162150171142157156165143154145151143141143151144056

Same word in hex:
44656F7879726879626F6E75636C656963616369642E00

And also, lollerskates @ what Fiend said in binary. 4tw.
