Whenever I copy DVDs, I wonder if I am actually copying every single bit perfectly so I have several questions I was hoping you guys could help me with.

When I use DVD Decrypter, it shows 0 read errors. Does that the computer read all 72 billion bits perfectly? Or does it mean there are no serious errors, but a few small ones.

Is there a program I should be using to ensure the best quality? I have installed: DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink and sometimes I use DVD43 with Vob Blanker to skip a step.

Is there anyway to make I am ripping every single bit perfectly?

Thanks.

Are you having some problems on playback that would make you ask this question? Do you have problems reripping your backups?

Create an ISO with DVD Shrink and burn your ISO with Imgburn and use the verify feature after the burn...this will do a bit for bit comparison to make sure that all the information burned is the same as the files it was burned from...otherwise the verification will fail.

I've got a question. Is there such a thing as "the perfect backup copy"? I've been backing up my dvds for a while now;on my 300th copy. I always notice that there is a drop in the frame rate when it comes to background elements. Such as: fog effects, far away cloud and waterfall effects, etc... Has anybody made a literally perfect copy? Thanx for everybody's help in advance. Love you guys

You might want to give DVD Rebuilder a try. It will take alot longer but the quality is better than what DVD Shrink can give you. You might also consider using DVD Shrink Quality Controls...Deep Analysis and AEC.
