Uh Oh - upgraded to 2.60

Hey Guys. I got Ghosts & goblins and upgraded to 2.60 so I can play it. How do I play it if I downgrade to 1.5. Is there an ISO loader for 2.6 so I can play the games I backed up already?
Please consider me a noob in this area. I figured out how to get a loader when I first got the PSP, but I haven't done anything since (about a year ago) so much has changed since then I don't even know where to start.
Thanks for your help.

downgrade to 1.5 and then use devhook .45 or .46 your choice to emulate the 2.71 firmware and then you can play your umd of ghosts n goblins.

you can rip the umd using one of many programs. you will need to be on 1.5 though, so just downgrade your firmware (assuming you don't have TA-082 Mobo, follow the tutorial stickied at the top of the forum) and u can load the game from either the ISO or the UMD, using devhook. (devhook won't rip games, you'll need something like fastloader v7 or another ripper)

I was just reading hte turorial (I printed it :-) ) and I have one last question (I hope) How do I know if I have the old version of GTA? I'm gonna have to rent it from blockbuster or something since I don't have the game.

it should be in the tutorial?
but if it's not, the only way i know, is...stick the UMD in and if it says upgrade to 2.0 instead of upgrade to 2.6 then it's unpatched.
or there's the 2.71 downgrader (which i don't think needs the GTA)

In the Tutorial it just says, if you don't have GTA, you don't need to continue.
I will try the 2.71 downgrader if I don't need GTA. That would be best so I don't have to take the chance.

I didn't see tha last two replies until just now. Thanks for the replies.
I ended up upgrading to 2.71 then downgrading to 1.5 so I didn't need GTA. Then I installed Dev Hook and was able to play the UMD that required the 2.6 firmware.

isn't there downgraders for all versions of 2.XX apart from 80+ that use the new tiff exploit now? if so you wont need gta at all plus you wont have to update to 2.71

I couldn't find a downgrader that didn't need GTA. Besides it was really easy to do. Did it in like 10 minutes.

yeah the 2.71 is easy!!! just use that if u dont have gta simple and its teh same risk as the gta soo..
