Just upgraded to 7.5.5.1 after waiting a long time for it to stabilize. Not able to burn at all since Nero will not see the +R ability of this drive. I have latest firmware and bios. Here is a cut of the log.txt, I have an open ticket with support but no help after 3 days. I would greatly appreciate any assistance. I am about to revert back to v6 and petition a refund on my upgrade purchase...so sad.

Your firmware is current according to my sources.
I am NOT familiar with this latest version of Nero, I still use (successfully) version 7.0.8.2...have you tried any other versions of Nero7.
I see your burner accepts +-R/RW but its asking for a -R/RW
I googled the version and found file hippo right after I asked...I can't believe I haven't seen that site before. I had tried installing with Nero 7.2.3.2 before and that caused the same issue. I will try with 7.0.8.2 next.
