yes, there is no region protection on DS games. But you'll have to know japanese to understand wtf is going on :)

well you could play it, but since you dont know japaneese, I wouldn't. Just wait for the US release.

he means he's just gonna look at the graphics. not going to worry about the text. just going to view the images of the pokemon and whatever the numbers mean, such as HP, attack, etc. numbers don't change from jap to US
it will take only a few months for it to be released in the US

yeah if u have one if them flash carts that load commercial roms then with most pokemon games that have been released there have been fan made english patches that i have seen around although i forget where. i am going to wait though... but i really want one of them special edition ds lites with the pokemon pic on the front

your not going to have to wait a year for the US release, I can tell you that for sure. dsdavis6, Im sure youll be able to just buy some skins of pokemon and stick them right on your DS
