Hi all,

Please if anyone can confirm and i mean confirm 100%

I have just bought a brand new jap white psp and it has the IC1003 number therefore it is a TA-082 board.
However the firmware reads only 2.6 in the system settings.

Can this psp be downgraded using the 2.6 GTA method???

Please I would appreciate any assistance but I want it to be accurate I DONT want to brick this lovely new psp.

it cannot be downgraded but u can use elaoder to load your homebrew

To clarify, the answer is NO, you'll have to wait a while... or... just load with the GTA loader, most homebrew!

I wouldnt be soo sure about that... hardware, the mobo, pretty much trumps us... that being said... nothing can stop hackers...

cant they just actually remanufacture mobos? or simply make ISOs that are compatible with higher versions? T_T
