I would like to put songs I burn with Nero in the order I want. But when I drag songs into Nero they go in alphabetical order. I want to place them in the order I want, not what Nero wants. Is there a way I can do this? Thanks

If you are making an Audio CD, add all the files to the compilation window. Then, simply left click and drag a track up or down in order.Do this for subsequent tracks until you are satisfied with your order.

BTW When I am making an Audio or MP3 CD the tracks appear in the order that I add them. So the first track I add is first in order.

That doesen't work. I tried what you are saying and Damn Nero is still putting them in alphabetical order. If this isn't possible to do with Nero what other good burning program is good to use. I do like the feature of song equalization, where the program adjusts all the songs to the same loudness. Thanks

The process I described goes OK for 7.0.8.2 and subsequent versions I have tried. Csn you identify what version of Burning ROM you have?

You can get the version by clicking Help,then About Nero Burning ROM from within the Burning ROM application or run the info tool and look in the software tab. Burning ROM is the top entry.

You can always number the entries for the order you want;
eg edit the title and start the song name with 00, 01, 02 etc, but we should be able get this right for you.

There are lots of other burning / player apps around, but Nero does it for me.

The version I have is 5.5.10. I guess I am poop out of luck. But I will try the renaming thing you have mentioned. Thanks

Thats probably the OLDEST version of Nero I've heard of, try here and see if you can update...not too sure you can though.

If you can then d/l BOTH packages.
