Try doing a hard reset. Hold the pwr button up for 10 seconds or so, until the PSP automatically shuts off by itself.

Then try.

or if all that don't work, upgrade to 2.0 then downgrade back to 1.5 and re-install devhook and stuff after that.

Hey dont worry ,I had the same problem just twenty minutes ago.Did you download devhook 0.46 with the 2.71 fw? Well i did ; Pressed the 2.71 fw on devhook and it changed my psp to a 2.71 . I was so mad then as i thought i had to downgrade once again . So i went back and took off devhook on my psp memorystick. I went back to see if it was 2.00 (my fw of my psp before devhook was on it) Clicked on system setting , then my psp came up with the blue screen that had all the languages like you had . Then i just holded my OFF/ON button upwards , till it switched off . Switched it back on and the 2.71 fw had gone and my 2.00 psp was back XD....yay....trust me nothing to worry about . Post back if you need more help ^.^

you will have to upgrade and then downgrade back to 1.5, but first try to reformat your memory stick (remember to back up) i had this problem and solved by upgrading then downgrading
