I've downloaded and burnt about 5 copies of and1 streetball and wasted about 10 blanks but I still can't get it to work...do you guys have any suggestions ? I read somewhere on the forum something about DNAS...do you think that could be a problem ? Thanks

DNA$ will only be a problem if you want to play the backup online, as you'll need to patch the iso with the correct Disc ID so it will pass the DNA$ Authentication check. Checking one of the Disc ID stickies will give more info on doing this.
As for the game not working at all for you, there were a few topics on this before. Use forum search to see if a solution was posted, although, personally, I never had a problem with booting this game. Maybe it's a media problem for you?

I don't think it's a media problem...I've tried Verbatim Sony Traxdata and Memorex...written at various speeds..I've even tried using a different dvd burner(Asus and Toshiba Samsung). The result is the same...after the usual ps2 startup I just get a blank screen instead of the game loading. I've updated the firmware of the burners, tried using wnaspi32.dll like I read in one of the guides...nothing works. Now I read somewhere something about changing the book type to DVD-ROM...do you think that would work ? How about rebuilding the game ? The playstation is about a month old with a modbo chip in it. Thanks

You only need to booktype a disc if it's a DVD+R, and even then, not all PS2's read +R.
Better off with DVD-R

Unfotunately updating the chip firmware is not an option. I used DVD+R because I couldn't find any DVD-R...do you think if I change the book type or try DVD-R it might work ?...what did you use for this game(type of media, writing speed, software)? I heard that new slim playstations have no problems with DVD+R. Also...should I try rebuilding the game...would that be any difference ?
