just a quick question im thinkin of getting another 2 gig memory card is there anything special i need to do other that load devhook 0.46 on it like my first memory card?
and will i cause any damage by swapping memory cards in and out of psp when i want to use either of the memory cards?

and can i only run homebrew applications e.g media players or the pda on 1.5 fw

Depends on what you want to do with mem. if u want to watch movies, drop .pmp format movie and pmpmod 1.0, if u want play game's drop .iso + dev hook 0.46.
Swapping cards wont damage your console, it can only when u r watchin movie / playin game from memstick.
You can run hombrew on 1.5, play hombrew games, emulate other higher softs.

id like to do both of what you mentioned ,
i wont be swapping mem sticks while the psp is on just when i want to swap games if ones on the other mem stick

how do i convert a movie to .pmp format then and is pmpmod 1 a media player or something?

U download Videora PMP converter, convert with it, put on psp, and there u open it by PMPmod 1.0 player ^^

if you want to watch films the best thing to do is get psp vid 9 its so easy to use and it puts it on ya psp for you.

the only problem i have with pspvideo was that it actually made the file bigger than the orignal i was hoping to reduce the size if possible
