Hi everyone I just joined here but have been roaming the forums for quite a while.
Anyway I have something to ask from ppl here

the product shown on that page should be a swap magic 3.6
first i want to here how good or bad of a product it is, and i also mainly want to know if it can support DVD+R

that looks like the coder version... but its hard to see it might be 3.6 but it doesn't say and the site says out of stock... you should buy from a trusted site.. anyways... it can support DVD+R.. which is single layered... and only support games that are 4.36GB.. meaning it doesn't support DL games, like god of war, midnight club 3 remix, GT4... and so on.. they are pretty good disc if you ask me.. but the best way to go is to get a fliptop with it...

thanks for the response, i found another site called modchip.ca
i'm getting the fliptop to go with it for around 80$ (better than a modchip around here at least) anyway for double layered, i'll worry about those ones later (don't care too much for stuff like GTA)

no, not GTA.. you can play GTA as long as you use good media.. i said GT4... Grand Turismo 4... also that site seems kinda expensive...

well for GT 4 i guess i'll buy it (or did you say it doesn't support DL at all? or just the DVD+R?)
anyway the total i gave you was, shipping, and TAX and COD fee (in CAD) so it all adds up

It won't play Dual Layered DVD+/R but your system will still play dual layered original games.

40 bucks more for shipping and tax?

well my shipping came to be $16 CAD because i ordered a fliptop cover, so im going to change that to a normal slide card so the shipping is around $8
meh i still need to back up my games

Hi i am thinking of buying swap magic. I was wondering what i MUST buy with it? When you buy it, it only comes with the cds but i saw all these accesories too ( sold seperatly of course ) fliptop slidecard and so on. What do i really need? will swap magic alone do the work or do i need a fliptop with that. does fliptop make things easier ???

Yes, you do need fliptop or slide card along with swap magic to boot backup games & imports. Buy the swap discs with a fliptop case.
