Hey people, I wanted to know how to put a video on my psp. Can somebody help me please?

well first you need to convert it to .mp4 if you're on 1.5, I cant remember the other formats for videos on higher firmwares, but .mp4 works on all. Once you have converted it you have to name it properly the name format is
m4vxxxxx - but change the x's to #'s so it looks like this
m4v00001 - or
m4v00002 - and so on and so forth.
After you have converted it and named it properly you have to create a folder in the root of your memstick named "MP_ROOT". Another folder needs to be created inside of the aforemention named "100MNV01". Inside of "100MNV01" is where your converted/named mp4 files go. Hope that helps. also if you dont have a conversion utility one can be found at http://www.pspvideo9.com

u use the usb cable to transfer the files and create the folders on the memory stick.

MP_ROOT goes in the root of the memstick.

Ok its not working..Heres what i done.. I converted a windows media audio/video file to MP4. Then i went to my computer..and click remomavable disk (E:)i then clicked the PSP folder i then made a folder named "MP_ROOT" i then made another folder inside the MP_ROOT folder called "100MNV01" i then pasted the two files one was a THM and the other was MP4..I then went to videos and there was no videos it said..can someone help me..thanks

man dont create the MP_ROOT folder in the PSP folder u create the MP_ROOT folder beside PSP folder it looks like this
(MS)E:/
/MP_ROOT/100MNV01/(here the MP4 and THM comes)
/PSP/..........(MP_ROOT folder dont come here)

I made a folder called MP_ROOT next to the PSP folder and i made another folder inside that called 100MNV01 and put the 2 files it still didn't work?

which software r u using???nd wat MP4 r u makin??? the vdo must not be more then 700kbps!!!hey u can backup ur ms and format it so psp will itself make the folders and there should be 2 folder in MP_ROOT like 100ANV01 & 100MNV01!!!then try putting the vdo in both folders!!!

u r most welcome!!!i used the imTOO before but now i see the pqdvd's PSP Movie Creator is better than tht cause i dont have to rename the vdo the software itseft rename the vdo and transfers it to psp if u say so!!!now i use the imTOO PSP Video converter to convert vdo to mp3 lol!!!try pqdvd's PSP Movie Creator i think its better!!!
