Someone please help
I have found an application that will DVD to MP4 for my PSP
But i have to choose between these 3 Qualities
My PSP is 2.81
Please tell me the highest quality my PSP can show

Good
High

Which is better quality for the PSP, the MP4 format or the H.264 format

dont double post.
if that program is for converting video for PSP, then you can use the High settings.
i dont know if MP4 has better quality that H.264 and vice versa.

After the .MP4 is ready i can name it whatever i want can i ? (Since i have 2.81)
Also where exactly should i place the file in the memory card so it can be found by my PSP?

i dont know about 2.81 so i dont know if you can rename it.
i think you can put the video in a VIDEOS folder in the PSP folder

Once again mate i,ll help ya.
Stay clear of MPEG4-SP, file name M4Vxxxxx.MP4.
Your best bet is to use MPEG4-AVC (H264), file name MAQxxxx.MP4.
To run these files on your V2.81 you will need to create a folder called MP_ROOT in the root of your memory stick (beside the PSP folder), within this MP_ROOT folder create another two folders called 100MNV01 and 100ANV01.
File name M4Vxxxxx.MP4 to this folder 100MNV01
File name MAQxxxxx.MP4 to this folder 100ANV01
Heres my guide: (Our site is down at the mo)
You will need 3 things:PSPvideo9, DVD Decrypter and your DVD.
PSPvideo9: http://www.pspvideo9.com/
DVD Decrypter: (Sorry you will have to google it)
First insert your (owned) DVD,
Select DVD Decrypter, and go to TOOLS and SETTINGS.
Select IFO MODE, and put file splitting to none.
Next select IFO MODE and click on INPUT VTS. Normally picked for u just highlight it.
Next select STREAM PROCESSING and ENABLE IT,
Uncheck all but the top most boxes.
Then select your destaination folder EG:MY VIDEOS and click on the DVD SYMBOL.
Sit back and relax.
Go to your destaination folder when its finished you,ll end up with somthing like this,Rename it to that of your DVD,
EG:Green Day.VOB.
Close all down and bring up PSPVIDEO9.
Click SETUP/OUTPUT VIDEOS TO: EG: MY PSP MOVIES
Reason for this is, people had trouble getting PSPvideo9 to reconize their PSP.
It saves alot of hassle.
Next click on PROFILE PICKER and select ur profile.
FOR FIRMWARE VERSIONS BELOW 2.00 ENCODE IN....SP.
Bit rate of AVC 384kbpsx96kbps is good. And i would recommend TWO PASS encoding.
Click on SAVE.
Select CONVERT/TRANSCODE NEW VIDEO.
Select your file and click open.
Now just click START on PSPVIDEO9 :!: :D
Have a break, have a kit-kat, this may take awhile :D

yeah. converting .vob files always takes a long time for me. a very long time.

Hey Sudds i tried your method but after a whole hour PSP Video9 was only at 4% . Does it take a whole day for a single conversion?
