OK GUYS good news is i upgraded my TA082 psp with 2.71 fw from psp hacks, than i installed henb homebrew enabler on my psp, than i installed devhook , now good news is it didnt brick. But now i a m clueless on how to use it. I mean where to place the iso file to test. I get 2 menu items on the memmory stick meny option one says devhook 4.6 other says dev hook for 2.71 when i run it says cannot load game so how to make it work guys.\
NO IT DID NOT BRICK MY PSP T082 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey dudes got to ask this thing though that is not mention will this work if my psp was 2.5 ta-082>2.6.
and also what does this mean actually
Homebrew Enabler for 2.71 revision B
This program enables homebrew to be run in 2.71 through the XMB. It makes a patch that remains
permanent until hardwar reset. Sleep mode won't remove the patch.
does this mean u can never switch off ur psp then

oh sorry about the psp version so that means even if ur psp version is below 2.50,it can upgrade to 2.71 rite.and there is no prob rite.

No kealbro it dosent mean u can never switch off your psp. It is about the installation files i guess but all i can say is u psp wont have any problem i installed it 2 times by formatting . But i am still unable to get to a menu of devhook
i am doing this ill update later in few minutes

devHOOK 2.71 with HenB homebrew enabler not running on TA082
Hello Guys i still cant get this dev hook work on my Ta082 mobo psp. Even though it will NOT BRICK a TA082 but still it does not run . I have reinstalled formatted a couple of times so guys u can be sure it dosent brick Ta082. But i cant run the sample files i get error
THE GAME COULD NOT BE STARTED.(80020148)

yo mandeep this is how u do it everytime when reboot ur psp u have to run hen before emulating devhook0.4x launcher for 2.71.
and to launch the iso's remember to make a folder called "iso" without this "" in the root of ur psp an then when u are inside devhook already umd select the game and fireware 2.71 and try it

thanks kealvro i was wondering how come it started when i freshly reinstalled devhook . ANd after next reboot it wasnt working. SO i also now downloaded the new HENB2 and i now know that i have to run than hen before doing nething. Guess i wasted hours on reinstalling .LOL

no prob bro.hey it's no prob for psp 2.50 TA-082 to upgrade to 2.71 coz 0okm blog:
it can support FW2.71(Original FW2.50)
if your PSP is "Original FW2.50"
feel free update to FW2.71 :)"
So, there you have it. I bet he's probably finished about 70% of the coding. And I'd trust him to get this thing finished before long. The other good news is that his downgrader will be supported on firmware 2.71. So all you TA-082ers, feel free to update to 2.71! It's got loads of goodies lately and it's where the party could be within the next few months.
nice aye so even if we 2.50 ta-082's,we still have that chance to downgrade cooooollll!!!!

as i had that TA082 i never used devhook i did get devhook running placed an iso in iso root folder. and killzonedemo.cso file . On menu there were lot of options another major question should there be any UMD in slot or no

guy got a problem now:this is what i did
run hen then
run devhook0.4x launcher for 2.71 then
umd select:sponge bob square pants.cso
firmware:1.5
cpu clock:222/111
boot select:(reboot XMB)
then i started it but somehow it goes in but when it boots it goes black screen and u have to start it.somehow it does not boot any games.does anyone have any clue to solve this

first of yes you are emulateing 1.5 but the trick is once your on 1.5 use devhook 4.6 witch has 2,71 to play games wich require 1.51 firmwire and up

Hey guys, A new HenB just came out, apparantly it has a better binary loader. Do I have to do a hard reset and then put the new henB onto my psp, or do I just switch the files? I want to be careful with this, because I'm not sure if it'll brick or not.
