many people ask if they could downgrade their psps if they had ic1006, ic9001 or icb001 in the top left hand corner, and all got the greenlight to go ahead.

please, i would like to hear from someone with these mother boards who downgraded and whether it was successful or not

reason i ask is because while the majority say that it is safe, there are those who say it will brick your psp so i want to be careful

all of those are fine to downgrade as long as they dont have ic1003 in the RIGHT corner when u open ur UMD slot. Like illustrated in the picture here, if your PSP DOES NOT look like this one you're safe to downgrade.

he's right, they're safe to downgrade, because that's the marking for TA-081 mother boards, which is fine i've downgraded them before just fine. but just watch out for IC1003
