What does it mean when it has "cracked" next to the name of a rom on a site like emuparadise?

There are some roms which say- E.g. Dragon ball gt -transformation (u)(cracked).

he is simply stating the title of a rom he has spotted online, no mention has been made to downloading it.
you seem rather quick with the reporting button ripper.. ill be sure to not post in any further threads as you... you are more trouble than the people you are reporting...
and if u do report, at least keep it anonymous, nobody is impressed.

And i am not trying to boast about it...I merely wanted to tell the guy i had reported it and why...
Also i am perfectly aware about what has been asked. But these threads usually do end up dipping into piracy related talk.
And also I mean by saying that who are you trying to impress...?

it is this kind of heavy-handed attitude which causes people to disagree anyway. if afterdawn aims to serve more members, having mini-mods running around certainly wont do ad any favours.

Ok well for one i am not "running around playing mod". I obvioulsy misinterpret what was written there. I thought the guy was talking about a d/l'ed rom not merely asking.
Re that other thread - yeah i reported it. And uh anyone else would have... What fanghui did wrong? I dunno i am not a mod - why dont you Pm darthnip if you want the details...
I am also not here to flmae with you about anything and am now publicly appologising about the bad report on my part. It is down to a mods disgression and they are all v good - they know when a bad report has come in etc etc. Worst case the thread is closed and probably to stop anything from happening between us not the issue i raised (which was flase and my bad)
I didnt mean to get o your nerves or w/e by reporting this and would like this to end here and now if you'll let it

I would peek at the forum rules if I were you ripper. We are allowed to talk about it in some aspects. The main things we cant talk about is linking directly to rom/iso files. Actually I'll just save you the trouble and post it for you.
Case examples regarding rule number five (5). No piracy.
Case: Pirated material, such as serial numbers and direct links to pirated, copyrighted material (including direct links to torrent files and ed2k links). PROHIBITED
Case: Technical, in depth discussion about copy protection circumvention (i.e. cracking). PROHIBITED
Case: Discussion about pirated content and piracy, such as converting (downloaded) video and/or audio files to DVD/AudioCD/whatever format. PERMITTED
Case: Discussion about copy protection circumvention in general (extracting encrypted content, such as DVD movies, compact discs, copy protected console and computer software, using existing software). PERMITTED
Case: Links to sites offering possibly pirated content (including torrent files and ed2k links). PERMITTED

In my opinion Fanghi didn't really do anything wrong other than kept on replying which kept the crap going. As for his perma ban I don't know, I have mistakenly perma banned when my intent was to tempban (not to say that is what happened).
Either way if you feel that we are doing something wrong then hey that is your opinion we are trying to clean things up in here so as to AVOID problems like this. Plus remember ANY forum you go to is going to have the same idiots. We just get more because of the sheer size and traffic through aD and that is why it is more pronounced.
As for your account details, if that is what you truly want then just reply here once more in referance to that and it will be done, as per your confirmed request.....
