Sure? because i have opening_plugin.rco on both 2.71 of devhook and my original 1.5.

that is the current problem im trying to figure out, im trying to find a vag converter but havent come up with much. maybe another member knows where one is.

@ramonc91
yeah im sure, i have gameboot.pmf on both my 1.5 and devhook emulated firmware and that doesnt mean its that file. if u guys have ever used x-flash you would know its coldboot.vag. but ima check one more time just to make sure.

@Hexitnow I dont use x-flash but themepsp, sorry for using something different.

i said opening_plugin.rco because thats the one i use since no one had explained what flash writing program we were talking about.

well im beginning to think i am wrong as to the coldboot.vag being the opening sound. I am kind of confused because x-flash creates the coldboot.vag (which i originally thought was the opening sound), and flashes it. Im beginning to think that maybe coldboot.vag is located in opening_plugin.rco or something. But who knows maybe I am wrong altogether.

I think that themepsp uses opening_plugin.rco and x- flash coldboot.vag. They are the same thing or the coldboot replaces the content of the opening_plugin.rco or something like that.

im not quite sure but i did notice that you had to extract the oprninh_plugin.rco to get the coldboot.vag

EDIT* Here it is guys. i think i found the problem.

You make a colboot.vag from a wav and insert it into the opening_plugin.rco

You should be able to try it out with devhook now

found this...so it's not my typing, just cut and pasted:

1. Get a short sound.
2. Half the speed using Windows Sound Recorder.
3. Save it as a 16bit PCM Wav.
4. Convert it to vag with MFAudio.
5. Add it to opening_plugin.rco using PSP Menu Edit.
6. Flash it to PSP using PSPset.
