Hi i am thinking of buying swap magic. I was wondering what i MUST buy with it? When you buy it, it only comes with the cds but i saw all these accesories too ( sold seperatly of course ) fliptop slidecard and so on. What do i really need? will swap magic alone do the work or do i need a fliptop with that. does fliptop make things easier ???

by the way i have a normal ( bulky :P ) ps2
and what fliptop do i need i checked some out and they say works only for model and they give numbers, i wouldnt know which one to buy.
mine starts with
Au4xxxxxx scph-39010
can anyone help please?

I would suggest the fliptop with swapmagic some store will give you the whole package discs with fliptop just check it out. Also their are asking what model because there two different types just flip you ps2 over there will be 8 or 10 screw your could be v5-6 with 8 screws.

I'm not too fond of the flip top. I believe the slide card is ALOT easier. If you do decide on getting the slide card one, my link below (In my sig) Has a guide. :D

Well, it's not! But it is a lot more dangerous to your system, or rather your drive tray.
Fliptop is definately the way to go; easy to install, even easier to use & there's no danger to your PS2.

Nah. Once you get used to it, it's quite easy. You just can't be like: "OMFG I CAN'T OPEN IT!!!" and go all postal on it. But, ace1uk. I guess alot of people have different views.

im going to order the fliptop after all, i saw how the slide card is used and i dont like that at all. Fliptop seems a lot easier and better.
