Hi,

Yesterday i was cheking fileassistant 0.6.. (On a 2.8 PSP)
And then i go in the root: flash0:/vsh/resource.

And in that folder i saw the gameboot.pmf file..
So i thought that i delete the gameboot.pmf fle and set my own gameboot in there?

******WARNING!******

This was only a idea. I haven't tried it yet because i'm scared to brick my PSP..

Instructions:

Download fileassistant 0.6 from http://www.psp-hacks.com/

Set the fileassistant folder in your #:/PSP/PHOTO folder in your PSP's Memory Stick.

Unplug your PSP and go to PHOTO and then to the fileassistant folder on your PSP, and press START.

When you are in there Press the L trigger button till you come to the DISC at the buttom. Press the R trigger button and open the flash0 disc. Now go in the vsh and the resource (flash0:/vsh/resource) and there is the gameboo.pmf file..

i doubt anyone will try it if you say you are scared of bricking your psp, you might get lucky and someone with a chip may try it for you.

I have just tried by myself and it didn't work :(

You cant delete,rename,move from the flash0.. You can only copy :(

So it's not working..

don u see while selecting disk there is writen Flash0(read-only)!!!!!!
if ever the developers could modifly the flash0 they could have made a downgrader by now lol!!!!kernal access is needed to modify flash0.......
