i got Nero 7 premium, and i have the ati xt 850, can i split the video and audio from my dvd player and record it on my computer as i watch it on my tv?

my guess would be no, most set top DVD players are macrovision enabled, you'd probably get the same results as trying to hook it up to a VCR...the picture goes constantly from light to dark...one suggestion that might work would be using an RF Modulator between them (as long as your Vid Cap card has a Coax RF input) They're made to hook up newer euipment to older Tele's.
