emu. 2.6 on .46 devhook help me!

Ok so i have the ultiment installer v1.1.1 and there is the option to emulate 2.6 in the main menu. So i do that send it to the right folder on my psp (root). When it starts to install this message comes up You have to run this utility again to install 2.6 firmware.
Ya it no worky. Please help

P.S. I want to use the GTA cheat device

Do you have the option to run 2.71, cause that is all you need right there. 2.71 can do everything, except what 2.81 can do.

But I'll tell you what 2.71 CANNOT do:

It can't run teh Cheat Device b/c that was teh 1st FW Sony was able to block the Cheat Device on.

If you want to play GTA:LCS w/ Cheat Device, little dude, you're gonna have to install the 2.60 flash. Just get this from either the Ultimate installer or you can rip it from one of your 2.60 games.

bump i can't figure out to manully intall 2.6 because the ulltimate installer way is not working.

hey jayjubear try this

1)make a folder on your computer desktop
2)install ultimate installer v1.1.1,2.6 firmware with devhook
into that new folder then
3)copy an paste the dh folder to ur memorystick (root)

this works for me but i hope it works for u too.
